This plot is located along the ancient Roman road between Chagny and Cluny. Coming from the East and the North, the pilgrims took this route via Cluny and Le Puy en Velay to reach Saint Jean de Compostelle which explains the name « Les Saint Jacques »
Tasting
Appearance : Light gold, limpid and brilliant.
Nose : Sharp and precise nose, with aromas of white flowers and hawthorn.
Mouth : On the palate, the wine is well balanced, energetic and crispy with notes of exotic fruits and lemon and a very good length.
Terroir
This plot is located at the bottom of the hill with an exposure to the East and the soil is predominantly clay.
Our Rully white "Les Saint-Jacques" seduces with its finesse and the subtlety of its aromas rather than its power.
